Course Description:
This class will be a year long unit study of our home state. The students will be making a notebook that will include not only interesting historical and geographical information but also information about the flora and fauna of Indiana! The students will make a timeline. We will discuss and have activities related to interesting places to visit as well. I am planning on offering an optional field trip each semester. Last year I completed the Indiana Master Naturalist program and gleaned a wealth of information, in addition to the the solid Indiana History book I’ll be using for the class.
