Tuition / Fees:
$320.00 tuition- A NON-REFUNDABLE enrollment fee of $120.00 is due within 2 weeks of registration to hold your student’s place in the class and allow the teacher to buy any needed supplies. That leaves $100 due on the first day of each semester.
Course Description:
In this class, students will receive a basic introduction to the art and science of color. We will study the 6 main color harmony combinations through hands-on, mixed media art projects. Students will gain practical fine art skills through use of watercolors, acrylic, pastels, charcoal and more! In addition, they will develop introductory color theory knowledge with projects exploring how colors interact with each other, how color is used in advertising, art, and nature, and the science of pigment and light.
All students will receive a personal art kit to keep and bring with them to each class. A small amount of homework will be part of this class as well.
