Class description:

This will be an introductory English course for High School.  The students will be using a workbook that I make (this is included in the supply fee), as well as the Wordly Wise 3000 3rd edition book 9 that you will need to purchase. I found this on for $10.  It will include vocabulary and their weekly homework to help them prepare for testing in the future.  We will go over grammar using the IEW approach to grammar.  We will be using Fix It! Grammar Little Mermaid Book 4 for our assignments (you do not need to purchase this).  This is an editing-based grammar program that is broken down sentence by sentence. Your student will learn how to pick out all of the essentials of a sentence.  We will cover the basics and add to their knowledge as the year goes on.  Repetition will help the student to master the material. Grammar will be taught in context, not as an abstract concept.

This is a year- long class with payment due at the beginning of each semester.

Max: 18

I will be taking an enrollment fee of $25 along with the $25 supply fee. The enrollment fee is included in the price of the tuition. You would only owe $100 for the remainder of the first semester and $125 for the second semester. Both the enrollment fee and supply fee are non-refundable.

If you have a student with special needs, please contact the teacher directly to discuss.
