Class description:

This modern world history class will be utilizing the Mystery of History Vol. 4 book. I will provide a workbook with a timeline, maps, and worksheets, but the students will need to bring the student text of this book to class every class period. You do not need to have taken previous years of Mystery of History in order to take this class.  There is required reading from the text as well as tests, with a couple of projects involved for homework.  In this class we will delve into the time period after the Reformation to present day. I love Linda Hobar’s style of writing. It makes the lessons both engaging and thought provoking. It is also broken up into smaller chunks to help students retain and enjoy. I do not use the cumulative style approach, so I make my own tests for this class.

This is a year- long class with payment due at the beginning of each semester.

Max: 18

I will be taking an enrollment fee of $25 along with the $25 supply fee. The enrollment fee is included in the price of the tuition. You would only owe $100 for the remainder of the first semester and $125 for the second semester. Both the enrollment fee and supply fee are non-refundable.

If you have a student with special needs, please contact the teacher directly to discuss.
