Class description:

This class will cover various genres of world literature.  I will provide a workbook for this class, but the students need to have the Dover Thrift Edition of  these books:  Treasure Island, Journey to the Center of the Earth, A Tale of Two Cities,  A Christmas Carol, The Red Badge of Courage, O Pioneers!,  and The Old Man and the Sea. We will learn about the authors of these books as well as other various contemporary authors. There will also be poetry, myths/fables, and short stories sprinkled throughout the year. There will be tests and quizzes throughout the year as well as other small projects.

This is a year- long class with payment due at the beginning of each semester.

Max: 18

I will be taking an enrollment fee of $25 along with the $25 supply fee. The enrollment fee is included in the price of the tuition. You would only owe $100 for the remainder of the first semester and $125 for the second semester. Both the enrollment fee and supply fee are non-refundable.

If you have a student with special needs, please contact the teacher directly to discuss.
