Course Description: THIS IS A ONE SEMESTER CLASS. WINTER SEMESTER WILL HAVE ART THRU NATURE AT THIS TIME SLOT.
In this 12-week class, students will receive a basic introduction to the world of Interior Design. Students will learn fundamentals such as hand-drafting and space planning, as well as how to select furniture and fabrics, paint, and accessories for a project. Throughout the semester, each student will get to use the design skills and techniques they learn to create their own Tiny House design board, with all the details of their totally unique “dream interior”.
No matter the skill level of the student now, understanding and practicing these concepts can improve their satisfaction with their work. Creativity is a gift of God, and as with anything else, knowledge and practice can help that gift flourish. Students will receive a drawing kit along with the class.
