FUN With Literature for K - 4th

Semester 1: Monday, September 12th – November 28th, 2022
Semester 2: Monday, January 9th – March 27th, 2023.
(December 5th and April 3rd will be make-up days if needed.)

Tuition / Fees: $300.00 tuition ($150.00 per semester). An enrollment fee of $50 is due within 2 weeks of registration for the first semester and another $50 deposit will be due for the second semester by 11/7/22. Both will come off of your tuition for each semester. The enrollment fees are non-refundable and will hold your place in the class.
This is FULL year-long class.
Course Description: In this class students will be exposed to a different piece of children’s literature each week, for a total of 24 different books! We will read the book together and then explore different subjects related to each book. Some weeks we will explore the history or culture represented in the book, some weeks we will do a cooking or science experiment related to the book, some weeks we will use music and movement to expand on what we read. The possibilities are endless! I will provide you with a complete book list and outline of our projects so that you can potentially expand on what we did in class throughout the week. Tara McClure is teaching a complimentary class, covering the same books and exploring art through the literature. Our hope is that your students will have fun with literature and further their love of learning!
