Location: Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6606 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835

Grade Level: 9th – 12th grades

Ages: 14 – 18

Classes Meet: Mondays

Semester 1: Monday, September 12th – November 28th, 2022 

Semester 2: Monday, January 9th – March 27th, 2023.

(December 5th and April 3rd will be make-up days if needed.)

Tuition / Fees: $350.00 tuition ($175.00 per semester).  An enrollment fee of $50 is due within 2 weeks of registration for the first semester and another $50 deposit will be due for the second semester by 11/7/22. Both will come off of your tuition for each semester. The enrollment fees are non-refundable and will hold your place in the class.

This is FULL year-long class. 

Prerequisite: Algebra 1 

Course Description:

In this high school level Geometry course we will be using curriculum from Math-U-See. We will cover points, rays, lines, set theory, types of angles and lines, polygons, perimeter and area, circles and ellipses, volume, radicals, Pythagorean theorem, transformations, and a brief introduction to Trigonometric functions. Students should have already successfully completed Algebra 1 prior to taking this course. Students will have daily assignments and should plan to spend an average of 30 -40 minutes daily. There will be quizzes and tests. Students will need to purchase the Math-U-See Geometry Student Workbook. I will be offering supplemental weekly tutoring on Tuesday afternoons at our Auburn location or on Fridays via Zoom.

This is a year-long class. The class is worth 2 credits of Geometry/Math on a high school transcript.
