VIOLIN LAB II (basic violin pre-requisite)
Instructor Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
I have been homeschooling for over twenty years. Having graduated five students, I am in the home stretch with my last two. BC (Before Children) I attended Huntington University and graduated with an Elementary Education degree and Music Endorsement. The violin has been a part of my life since I was in the fourth grade. I didn’t always love it and it is a wonder I never quit. Now I love nothing better than to help students discover the amazing world of music through the violin. With a few exceptions in my life I have always had some private violin students. I use a blend of Suzuki and traditional methods. Music is a gift from God and can be used to express emotion, encourage, inspire and entertain others and most significantly, draw us closer to God. I believe the violin is uniquely suited for all of the aforementioned tasks. In addition, music training builds character. This musical character can be transferred to other instruments or life tasks. In other words, learning to play the violin is the bridge to everything else in life!
