Tuition / Fees:

$320.00 tuition for the year –  A NON-REFUNDABLE enrollment fee of $120.00 is due within 2 weeks of registration to hold your student’s place in the class as well as to allow the teacher to buy needed supplies. It will come off of your tuition in September.

This is a FULL year-long class.

Course Description:

This class will be the lecture/book part for the Physics Lab Class.  We will be utilizing the Christian Kids Explore Physics textbook by Robert Ridlon, Jr. and Elizabeth Ridlon.  The Units covered will be:  Foundations of Physics, Matter, Mechanics, Matter in Motion, Energy in Motion, Electricity and Magnetism.  There are 30 lessons in this book.  We will have some weeks that we cover more than one lesson.  There will be tests on each unit.  This is a good introductory class for studying Physics and is tailored to go hand-in-hand with the Physics Lab Class taught by Tracy Paxson.  We are collaborating together to give both a hands-on  and classroom lecture experience.  This takes more than just the 50 min. provided, so we created a lecture and a lab class.  You may choose to do just one of these, but we recommend both for the overall best classroom experience.
