This is a FULL year-long class that you are committing to. Teachers plan in advance for this amount both semesters.

Course Description:

Would your Kindergarten to 4th grader like to join our society?  We are the Science Experiment Society (SES) and our mission, if they choose to accept…. is to learn about all the different sciences through hands on activities and experiments.  Leave the planning and mess to the society leader (that’s me the teacher) and let us dive into God’s creation and design for astronomy, biology, chemistry, earth science, physics and even in our own kitchens!  We will also heavily emphasize the scientific method and how experiment failures are actually a good thing for scientists. Since this is a younger elementary class we will not have tests, grades or homework, but I may from time to time send links or videos to reinforce what we have learned in class.  These are for you to choose to use or disregard. This is an excellent class for your little scientist to get a taste of all the sciences in one class and could help aid in the planning of your future science curriculum.

We will spend 2 class periods in each of the branches of science and the last 2 class periods in kitchen science.  All supplies will be included in the price of the class, except from time to time, I may request that reusable items be sent with your student.  We will also return these with your student. Examples of these may be jars or a container to transport a project home.

I will not require a text for this class to be purchased but because of the nature of the class I will require a deposit. The deposit will go toward your tuition balance on the first day of class.

If you have a student with special needs, please contact the teacher directly to discuss
