Grade Level: 4th-6th (This will use a 5th-grade curriculum and incorporate multiplication and other math drills, please gauge if your younger or older student is ready or at this level.)

Tuition / Fees: $320.00 tuition-A NON-REFUNDABLE enrollment fee of $120.00 is due within 2 weeks of registration to hold your student’s place in the class and allow the teacher to buy any needed supplies. It will come off of your tuition in September. This is a FULL year-long class that you are committing to. Teachers plan, in advance, for this amount both semesters.
Course Description:
As students enter the upper elementary years, they need to solidify their math skills to tackle the middle school level and beyond. I have designed this class to build on the math skills they have already obtained, add additional skills at an age-appropriate level, and drill multiplication and other math facts that will serve them throughout their school career.
We will use a basic math practice book that is inexpensive and can be bought here:
In addition to the above book, students will need notebook paper, a pencil, and a binder or folder to keep their papers in. All other math supplies will be provided through their supply fee.
Class time will be instruction and math drills; students must do the practice pages in the text at home. I will assign problem pages for each weekday. I will give a quiz every 3-4 weeks and a final test for both first semester and 2nd semester.
Students and parents must be able to access our Google Classroom. The link will be provided before class starts. All updates and class messages will be given through this classroom tool.
