Course Description:

Come explore literature with us as we cover Abeka’s Literature of People.  This book has adaptations from books such as Caddie Woodlawn, Farmer Boy, Robinson Crusoe, The Long Winter, Little Women, A Christmas Carol, The Pilgrim’s Progress, Through the Gates of Splendor, and The Jungle Book. There is also poetry by Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, John Greenleaf Whittier, Christina Rossetti, and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.  We will spend approximately 2 weeks per unit. There will be 2 tests per semester and some reading quizzes throughout. Your student will need to have Abeka’s Literature of People, but I will supply the workbook.

This is a year- long class with payment due at the beginning of each semester.
