Course Description: We will be spending the school year traveling the globe. On each continent we will get a brief overview of culture and general history while exploring the countries and major waterways of our world.
I will provide a workbook which will contain all the necessary maps, worksheets, information, and links to required reading and other resources.
Students will have study questions, along with map and memory work as part of their homework, but the homework load should be minimal each week, 20-30 minutes per day. The final for the class will consist of a project about a country of their choice, which will be presented in class.
This year long class is broken up into semesters. The class is worth 2 credits of electives, geography, or history on a high school transcript.
Fees: An enrollment fee of $25 plus the materials fee of $25 is due within 2 weeks of registration and will come off of your tuition. Both the supply fee and enrollment fee are non-refundable and will hold your place in the class.
