Tuition / Fees: $160/semester. An enrollment deposit of $60.00 is due within 2 weeks of registration for the semester. This will come off of your tuition for the semester. With $100 due the first class of the semester. The enrollment fee is non-refundable and will hold your place in the class. This helps to ensure class size and availability.

Course Description: This is a class designed for JH/HS to fill an elective. Students will learn to recognize the fallacies they see every day, including the Red Herring, Ad Hominem attacks, the Straw Man, loaded questions, equivocation, circular reasoning, either-or, generalizations, analogies, propaganda, special pleading, slippery slope fallacies, and more. Students will need to purchase the Art of Argument student book. (Not the updated one.)
