Tuition / Fees: Total $320 per year ($160 per semester) A Non-Refundable enrollment fee of $120 is due at the time of registration to hold your place in the class for both semesters. This allows the teacher to buy needed supplies for your student and is included in the price of the class. This fee will come off your total.
Course Description: This class is designed to give students a basis of knowledge and skills to make healthy lifestyle choices. It teaches the students how to treat the whole being. This class will teach the fundamentals of nutrition and how our body uses these nutrients. It will also teach the students how to use physical activity to encourage positive health behaviors. It will also teach the students how to prepare foods and plan healthy meals. The knowledge gained from this course will help the students make healthy lifestyle choices for a lifetime. This course can be used for the physical education/ wellness credit or science credit for high school.
