Classes Meet: Mondays

Semester 1:  September 12th – November 28th, 2022

Semester 2:  January 9th – March 27th, 2023

(December 5th and April 3th will be make-up days if needed.)

Tuition / Fees:  $300.00 tuition ($150.00 per semester).  An enrollment fee of $50 is due within 2 weeks of registration for the first semester and another $50 deposit will be due for the second semester by 11/7/22. Both will come off of your tuition for each semester. The enrollment fees are non-refundable and will hold your place in the class.

Course DescriptionThis class is designed to give students a basis of knowledge and skills to make healthy lifestyle choices. It teaches the students how to treat the whole being. This class will teach the fundamentals of nutrition and how our body uses these nutrients. It will also teach the students how to use physical activity to encourage positive health behaviors. It will also teach the students how to prepare foods and plan healthy meals. The knowledge gained from this course will help the students make healthy lifestyle choices for a lifetime. This course can be used for the physical education/ wellness credit or science credit for high school.
