Course Description: We will be spending the semester traveling the globe. On each continent we will get a brief overview of culture and general history while exploring the countries and major waterways of our world.
I will provide a workbook which will contain all the necessary maps, worksheets, information, and links to required reading and other resources.
Students will have study questions, along with map and memory work as part of their homework, but the homework load should be about 20-30 minutes per day. The final for the class will consist of a project about a country of their choice, which will be presented in class.
This is a semester long class. The class is worth 1 credit of electives, geography, or history on a high school transcript.
