Course Description:
This Economics class will be a general overview of economics. We will be using readings from Bankruptcy of Our Nation by Jerry Robinson (of which students will need their their own copy) and lessons from Money Wise (DVD) and other resources. Students should expect to spend 20-30 minutes daily on readings and homework There will be quizzes and a final project.
Students will gain an understanding of economic issues that have an impact on the world we live in. It will be taught from a perspective of faith in God. We will incorporate Biblical teachings on money and finance, while giving an overview of the economic history of our country. Your students should be able to understand basic economic terms and concepts and be able to apply them to their own personal finances.

This is a one semester class, worth 1 credit on a high school transcript.
